I was in their shoes once and know how difficult it is to deal with everyday life and how nice it was have a teacher to talk to. As a teacher, I will get the same salary in every month though it is not very high.

What motivates me to continue on is that I have felt the bitter cold bite of homelessness. Every child deserves the best education available and I should strive to be the best educator possible to provide that for them. Intensive courses are exactly that, and part of my job is to lookout for ways to motivate and encourage very tired people. Teaching is the best job ever. There's often someone who has a sorry tale to tell about another culture and it's never helpful for people thinking of going to an unknown place. I want to make my students wonder; make them question; make them think critically; make them write; make them read, read, read. I think I've said enough - there is more that could be said. I was told my ideas were stupid and would not work. After six years I was still living in Barcelona, but had become restless and wanted to move into a role with more responsibility and a higher salary. Showing a new part of the world to the youth of my community has motivated me to pursue my dreams. This helped me determine strategies that I would want to apply in my future classroom. I push myself through the rough spots for them.
These students are in the second grade, meaning that they are impressionable yet vulnerable to their environment whether this means at home, at school, or in their greater community. I will expect every one of my students to want to learn and more importantly to understand.
When training I might be observing lessons, helping people in their planning, marking essays and even teaching myself — as well as answering emails from previous trainees with their eclectic questions.
